the funny definition… of Design (nowdays)

Design as a noun informally refers to a plan for the construction of an object or a system (as in architectural blueprints, engineering drawing, business process, circuit diagrams and sewing patterns) while “to design” (verb) refers to making this plan.^[1] No generally-accepted definition of “design” exists,^[2] and the term has different connotations in different fields (see design disciplines below). However, one can also design by directly constructing an object (as in pottery, engineering, management, cowboy coding and graphic design).

More formally, design has been defined as follows.

(noun) a specification of an object, manifested by an agent, intended to accomplish goals, in a particular environment, using a set of primitive components, satisfying a set of requirements, subject to constraints;

(verb, transitive) to create a design, in an environment (where the designer operates)^[3

Plan properly: set tangible objetives…  like a scientific research!

·      Reviewing helps to keep the moral..(and the self-motiation)

Be prepared to make changes:

o    Planning stage” (a)

o   Review Stage (b)

o   – its important to be aware of possible changes Turing the  planning and review proces, thats why we should be prepared enough to improvise possible Solutions (where: now!)

o   I’m 99% sure there will be changes along the way. How well you handle those changes will determine how well your project goes through to launch.

Keep the positivity: dificultéis Turing the proyect process are capable to hapen! :

·      Keep focus! (concentration on the changes

o   It’s at every stage you need to keep asking yourself why you’re doing it.

o   Try and re-capture that excitement that got you going in the first place. Unfortunately the good intentions you had in the beginning aren’t enough to carry the project if you’ve lost that spark.

o   Keep the eye on the target!

o    

o   If you haven’t got that excitement and when you’re talking about it you not coming across as positive, you’ll end up with a half-assed end product that isn’t what you wanted to release back when you first started talking about it

o    

But how tos tay in target?:

·      A)Plan properly and have a clear route to what it is you want to do

·      B)Set realistic goals and agree on them

·      C)Review, review and then review some more

·      D)Keep up the enthusiasm

·      E)Stay motivated and be prepared up front to make some sacrificas

·      F)Get feedback from fellow designers/developers along the way
